
Established in 2005, the Colorado Kings is a professional basketball team based in Aurora, CO. This year marks the team’s 2nd season as the state’s only ABA basketball team since the Denver Nuggets. The 1st season was marked by an outstanding record of 24-1 and a trip to the Elite 8.
The Colorado Kings are the first ABA expansion team in the Rocky Mountain Division. They will compete with teams in the South West, South Central, and Rocky Mountain Regions.
The organization’s administration, players and staff are well-networked in the Denver area – many are natives – with community outreach programs that include youth basketball camps, service projects, fundraisers and a documentary. This team is the first in the ABA’s developing Rocky Mountain Region. The team boasts two Pro-Am championships with a roster consisting of men ages 24 - 30 years of age who are among the most talented players in the state
